And soon begins his mission to defeat the Sorceress from the distant future, Ultimecia, which was apparently destined for him since childhood. While dealing in all of these conflicts with Galbadia, Squall’s status as a SeeD and his exceptional accomplishments continue to rise until he ends up as head of Balamb Garden.
